argumentative notes

 today, we took notes on a new topic which is arguments, and how to write an argumentive essay.

we defined what an argument is and that arguments can be me about anything and everything.

in an argument, you need a topic, the speaker, the purpose, and the audience. however, some arguments cannot persuade other people like abortions, getting a tattoo, or even buying something. we also talked about rhetorical analysis which is the art of arguing effectively.

Spring break

 What I did for spring break  is work, relaxing and playing games. The first thing I did on spring breaks was breaking and burning wood outside. I was also mowing the back yard and front yard. I went fishing with my dad and went to church on Wednesday and Sunday. While I was at church i got baptized and started praying more.  I also went to the mall and went to d&k to get more formal attire. I played on my oculus quest 2, the games I play were walking dead saints and sinners retribution and paint the town red. The walking dead game is about a guy who is called the tourist and he is trying to survive my collecting tools and craft items. paint the town red is a game mainly about fighting enemies with items around the map until your the last one alive. My spring break was alright however it could be better.

Poem assignment

 Today we started on a new assignment Which is about the four poems we read a couple weeks ago. We have to write the topic of the poem, and then write the theme and textual evidence that supporting the theme. Second, we have to Write a question that pertains to the poem, then write evidence and explain it. The last thing we have to do is write two claims with evidence, and explaining how This claim makes sense. Today was an OK day I wonder Who is going to present first tomorrow.

Writing evidence

 Today we did another assignment where we had to take two topics from Yesterday And copy our supporting claim and opposing claim. and also we had to find evidence from the passage to support the claims. The two topics we had to use were the social media in the sport topic. We had to use different types of way to restate from the passage, such as according to, or as mentioned. Today was an all right day, but we had too much work.
