 today we started reading the book Fence Act 1. Before we started reading the teacher picked people to be the actors for the book. hen gave the people who were not reading a worksheet to work on while the people read. the book was funny and I enjoyed it however, I didn't like doing the worksheet. today was a very fun day and I can't wait to go back to class Thursday.

 today we are working on a book called Fence First we just took notes about the setting. the second thing we did was answer questions about what the story was about without reading it yet. One of the questions was what does a fence do. my answer was it keeps people in and keeps unwanted people out. today was okay and tomorrow we are going to start reading the book

 today we are watching the rest of the kids worldwide and finishing the worksheet. the next kid we were introduced to is disabled but his sibling helped him get to school. his siblings had to go to a man to get his wheelchair repaired. the kid's dream was to make his family proud and he needed an education to do it. today was a good day but we going to start work on the paragraph portion of the worksheet.

 today we watched the other part of the video with the kids all over the world. the other kid was and girl who was Muslim and was 4 hours from her school. She had the walk up a mountain and then wait for men to get done praying, and then get a ride into the city. The other kid from the video was a Hispanic kid from Argentina and he had to ride a horse with his little sister to school which is an hour away. today was good however we are going to start on the questions on the the next page.

today we watched a video about some kids worldwide and what they had to endure to get an education. the first kid lived in Africa with his family and was getting ready to go to school with his sibling. the two kids have to avoid lions and elephants while they make their journey to the school. while he has to get good to help his family and to live his dream of being a pilot. today was a good day but I know we have more work tomorrow.

 

 today we had a substitute and we had to finish the assignment we started last week. we have to answer some questions about the rockpile story. most of the questions were about why the kid wanted to go to the rockpile and why the mom did not want him to go play at the rockpile. and the characteristics of his older brother and himself at the time. today was ok I got my work done however I want to have a free day.

today we going to finish the story about the rockpile story and the kid's family. while we were going through the story we were given some questions about our neighborhoods. and we also had to write about our so-called rock pile in our neighborhood. the story was mainly about a kid being stubborn and he gets hurt in the process of not listening. today was a good day however I know that we have to answer some more questions tomorrow.

 today we started to read a story by a black author named James Baldwin. first, we watched a video that summarized his life and the awards he earned. the story Rockpile is about a kid and his family that live in the projects. his does not her kids to play and the rock pile because of how dangerous it is due to the fights.  however, we didn't get to finish the story today and the teacher said we will finish it tomorrow.
